Cite Me To Your Leader

I found something very flattering today. I was quoted in a brief before the United States Supreme Court in Harvey v. Mosaic Fertilizer! Here's the passage:

CAFA simply does not supplant or restrict the traditional diversity jurisdiction conferred under 28 U.S.C. § 1332(a). Rather, 28 U.S.C. § 1332, as amended by CAFA, provides parties seeking a federal forum "with an alternative to the traditional diversity-jurisdiction route." After the passage of CAFA, "the traditional path to diversity jurisdiction remains a viable option for some class actions."
You can read the full brief here: And here's the quoted article: Yes, it's a fertilizer company (they're the shit) and yes, they're quoting some fairly noncontroversial statements, but hey--they won their opposition!
UPDATE: Inspired by the citation, I decided to do a little internet research and see if I could find some other citations of the CAFA article. Turns out, it's cited in the 2007 supplement to a treatise called Litigating Tort Cases (AAJ Press). They cite it in sections 7:12 and 7:14. It's available for the low price of $840 and makes an excellent stocking-stuffer. (No, I don't earn royalties on it.)
